A decision helper, not a diet or allergy tool
CraveLoop only chooses from its curated 48-dish catalog. It does not inspect menus near you, check restaurant availability, compare nutrition or screen ingredients. For allergies or dietary restrictions, confirm ingredients directly with the restaurant or cook.
Quick answers
Food picker FAQ
Is this a “what should I eat” quiz?
Yes. It works like a short two-question quiz plus a random food generator. Both questions are optional, so you can narrow the catalog or ask for a completely random dish.
Does CraveLoop place a real food order?
No. CraveLoop is a fictional food-ordering playground. It does not contact restaurants, collect an address, take payment or dispatch delivery.
Can the picker handle allergies or dietary restrictions?
No. The current catalog does not contain complete allergen or dietary data. Treat the result as inspiration only and verify ingredients with the restaurant or recipe source.
Are my picker choices uploaded?
No. The craving and cuisine filters run in this browser, and the picker code does not send those values as custom analytics data. Plausible processes aggregate pageviews plus the page URL, referrer, browser/device details, and connection data such as IP address. It also sends engagement events with time spent on the page and approximate scroll depth. Optional Google Analytics may process pageview and interaction data if you allow it, as described in the privacy notice.
How many foods can it choose from?
The picker uses 48 curated dishes across eight cuisine collections. It is a deliberately small starting set, not a complete catalog of world food.
